It is!!! I’m not exactly happy about probably having to chuck the eggs, but it is relieving just to think that God will do what needs to be done. If I lose a chicken or two it was probably meant to be :).
Thank you too! It has definitely helped to mention this to y’all. And I’m quite confident this will clear up for all the current chickens, but it is a shame if I do have to cull the eggs. I’ll be praying for the flock and the right choice. :D
Hi :). So… I’m in a real pickle, my flock now has foul pox. I’m not sure if I should cull the eggs before they hatch or not. I really want to hatch them, but the shells have now been contaminated. So even if I finish hatching the eggs without Eggatha, the will contract foul pox. I have no idea...
It is! Especially since Minnie hasn’t given me a single egg in nearly two weeks. Two weeks!! That’s not to say she isn’t hiding them somewhere on the property when she free ranges, though. I may end up with a surprise batch of chicks if she keeps this up. 😂
