I have 29 chicks in the brooder under the large Premier and they all seem to be doing great. I was really nervous at first about the chicks staying warm enough, but they are running all over the place in the brooder and are quite at night. I give the Premier a two thumbs up.

I like them, they lay almost everyday. One is all white and one is white with a few black spots. They look a lot like my leghorn but a bit bigger.

I ordered one last week, I got half my order. The heat plate is back ordered until the end of March but I don't plan on hatching until May with a Memorial weekend hatch.

I ordered the premier heat plate yesterday and 2 waterers. I wasn't going to order the cover but shipping was $24 and the cover which was $26 put me over the $100 mark for free shipping so I figure it only cost me $2.

Okay I've made my decision I'm going to order 1. I won't be hatching til May but am going to order it today in case of back order. I want to thank everyone who posted about the heat plate, your pictures and comments really helped.
