Only for wild duck eggs...never needed to for my quail (of any species). Have you listened for any sounds or movement from the eggs?

Hoping you get more, but all things considered... 5 is a good start! You could be hatching young from these in 12 weeks...a Beautiful thing about Coturnix :) Just for perspective... My Gouldian Finches take at least 6 months JUST to get adult plumage....and it takes most pairs a year and a half...

Don't lose hope yet! I've heard of people having them hatch on day 18. If you're a curious/impatient person (like myself haha) Try picking up an egg, give it a VERY light tap, then hold it right up to your ear. By this stage you SHOULD be able to hear the chicks moving in the egg, or even a peep.
