Sorry I took so long to answer, but we ended up with 3 pullets and 8 cockerels. We gave the cockerels away and now just have our three girls.

Yes she will take them back and we also have other places to go with the chicks we cannot keep, which are not our freezer. 😂😁

Since our 12 year old daughter is homeschooled, and a farmer friend asked if she would like to hatch her own chicks, we said yes! She borrowed us her small incubator, and gave us some fertile eggs from her own chickens. It was a great experience, and teaching and learning opportunity for us all.
We have 11, 6 week old chicks and are wondering if anyone is able to ID them as pullets or cockerels. We live in town and are only allowed to keep 6 pullets/hens and don't want to keep cockerels on mistake.
