My water was so high as I've been struggling keeping it last 60 during lockdown. Think my house is too cold and too dry.

I'm on day 20. I just bumped the incubator looking for signs of hatching. Now the paper towel I put in to stop their feet from.going thru the holes hot wet. My humidity shot up to 75. Did I just screw up? The paper towel will dry right? Side note bumping it I heard chicks peeping so that makes...
