i use mainly pellets. but in evenings i will give them alf alfa hay and half ration of pellets. they enjoy it, and it cuts back on cost of high dollar pellets. ive used all kinds of hay but the alfalfa seems to be best. higher protein.
some recommend putting her back in w/ the buck an hour later. i personally like to put her back in with the buck the following morning, and sometimes i do it again that evening on the second day for a third go round. helps make bigger litters.
my apologies. thats what i get for not paying attention. yes. those weights arent bad. im glad your enjoying raising rabbits and building up your rabbitry. its something that needs to be done more so in this country.
