MMM... tastes like chicken!!! :lau hahaha, sorry, I couldn't resist!! Just BEWARE, if you use Blu Kote, they will most likely go after his toe! And if you get it on your skin, it stains bright purple, and it is tough to get off . Ask me how I know this.... Super glue would...

Oh dear... poor boy. We had something similar happen. BF stepped on Violet's toe and broke her nail to the point it bled. I put Blu Kote on it, but the other hens went after it like crazy, so I had to separate her by putting her in the intro pen with the teenagers... no one was real crazy...

Hmm, I've been reading up on it and have read people have been successful after having them in the coop for only a week or two and others who've left them in the coop for 3 or 4 weeks and still had to chase them down to carry them into the coop. lol  And that would be just my luck!!

Aw geez, yeah, that's exactly what I'm afraid of. lol I'm hoping by leaving them in the coop longer they will know that it's home and will be quicker to come back in. I don't know how long I need to do that though.

Oh dear!! Well, go you!!! :bow I wish I had all that wisdom. But even if I did, I doubt my bf would listen to me anyway. Yes, he's one of 'those'. lol I am also hoping the OSB works out ok. As I said, it really isn't what I wanted to use, but unless we waited several months...
