I retained two of the Isbar x BCM pullets (one blue, one black) I hatched earlier this year and thought some BYCers might be interested in the egg color. I took the photo outdoors, but the color was difficult to capture...I like it, though, and it contrasts nicely with the blue/green/pink/brown...

It's "hatching day" (day 21) for the OE eggs, safely ensconced in their hatching basket (to keep them separate from the SB eggs also in the hatcher). I haven't seen any pips yet, though eggs have moved around as the chicks get into hatching position. The wait may be the worst part...😣

@Ghosty, group #2 of my FBCM pullets have begun laying...and I like what I see. :woot Silverudd's Blue on L for contrast (no filter on either pic). A few more...

This group (#1) lays a respectably dark egg...not as dark as I'm expecting from group #2 (not yet to POL), but these girls lay regularly. :D This was from the OE hatch in progress:
