Urgh, effort. I have the tab up, I'll get to it eventually. All nice, advanced Kanji. FML. Golden week right now so I am working very hard to do nothing XD.

If you post the kanji for the names you want good translations of, I can do it. Getting reliable translations/meanings of names is something I am good at. Also, I live in Japan so if you want me to find out something specific for you, just ask. And I can confirm that it is very difficult to have...

Thanks! Yea, I know that it is essential. Hence the two years of interning. Also, chickens, thankfully, will not make or break me to figure out. I can afford to research the crap out of it then bumble through it. Horses, sheep, people, crops? I can't afford to only know about them academically...

I hope so. Have a few acres of hay, wheat, barley, hay. Another few patches of veggies. A draft nag and a mustang riding horse. And three sheep (a ram and two girls). I only want to use electricity for my comp, fridge, and chest freezer. Past that, I am going basically Amish. I want to live in...

That is why I am here. My hope is that, by the time I am back in the US, I'll have the chicken thing squared away so I can spend my two years interning on farms that are no electricity horse powered farms. By that point I want to focus on my horsemanship and the more practical side of owning a farm.

Hm, not for another 10 years or 100kUSD. That is when I will allow myself to come back to the States. After that, I want to get a mixed flock of all good foragers but some are better meat birds some are better egg birds and two are major broodies so I don't have to incubate. I don't mind if it...

AHAHAH! No. Although I have seen some people do it on their porch (called 'veranda) here..... again the animal protection laws here are non-existent. If I lived in a house, with more than concrete for a lawn (it's a thing here), and a lease that allowed pets... I'd probably abstain anyways. I am...

Hehe, it is the 4th most populous city now, or something like that... I don't have chickies yet, I just have SO MANY chicken questions that I end up finding myself here more than like three times a week as a lurker. In Japan, it is nearly impossible to have pets in apartments *shrug*
