I've removed the sawdust and replaced it with an old towel. The 3rd gosling is walking and running about fine now, panic over.

Thanks for the link Miss Lydia, I originally put them on paper, but realised quite quickly that it was no good and changed it for rough sawdust. 2 of the chicks are perfect, running and jumping around, the 3rd one still has a problem but I keep setting it back on it's feet and even help hold it...

All the goslings are doing well, one of them is now standing up properly, but the other two don't seem to be able to find their legs. Is that normal at this stage? They look a bit pathetic with their legs and big feet sticking out either side of them.

As I write this I have 2 hatched and 1 on it's way. The egg shells look very messy inside, is that normal for geese? I don't remember my chicken eggs looking that bad. If the survive til the morning I will take photos and put them on here.

Thank you for your advice, greatly appreciated. The 2 wrong end goslings have now made air holes so I am not so stressed about it. I am keeping an eye on the membrane to make sure it stays moist, but I will not interfere for now.

Quick update, a 3 chicks have externally pipped. Only 1 in the right end though. I'm keeping a close eye on progress. I can hear the chicks and still see the eggs rocking.

Well, overnight I have had 1 chick external pip the wrong end, so I have very carefully removed a small bit of shell and I am keeping and eye on the membrane. 1 egg is internally pipped correctly. All 3 eggs are rockin and rollin all over the place and they are chirping too. I have gone...
