Pull up BYC in your web browser on your phone. If you see the desktop version of the site and not the mobile version, go to the bottom of the page and click the "Mobile" button at the very bottom.

We're looking into this, thanks for letting us know! Outside of the app, can you (or anybody else with OS 9) test uploading pics from the mobile version of the site in their browser?

Open your web browser (probably Safari) on your iPad and then go to www.BackYardChickens.com You should automatically get the mobile version of the site. If not, there is a button at the very bottom of the site for "Mobile / Desktop".

We unfortunately haven't been able to figure out why the screen isn't rotating in our app. The good news is that it does rotate when you use your mobile browser to access the site, and the user experience is pretty much exactly the same.

Wow, those first few problems are new. Which iOS are you on? Anybody else having similar problems?

Try this: visit BYC via your web browser on your phone, login, and scroll to the bottom of the screen. You should be able to change the desktop / mobile setting and then it should be remembered moving forward.

I'm not sure if Apple requires a credit card when downloading any apps (even if free) but I can promise our app is 100% free.
