That's such a fabulous phrase....I constantly worry about my birds, they're so vulnerable. I lost my beautiful Welsummer lady today to some unknown illness. ...it never gets any easier. ..the worry continues. ..:(

Thanks...we think he's a handsome boy too, probably not "show" quality like a lot of the beauties on this thread but we love him anyway. I have no idea why the ducks are his nemesis, he charges dogs, humans and any cats but the ducks are a big no no!!!

Here's my RIR boy (you'll see him in my avatar too), a bit naughty but a wonderful flock guard. He's produced a nice couple of chicks this year and we love having him around. Quite noisy and very curious, scared of my ducks but happy to charge at the neighbours dog! A great breed, I don't have...
