Mine like to perch/sit on a log that is about a foot off the ground. I put "legs" on it. It's on the right side of this picture.

I have a small table I built out of pallet wood. The chickens get up on it, stand under it. I like things that they can get on/get under, as it adds a bit of space by giving them more places to be.

I took that idea too. It works great! I always have a clean chair to sit in, and that's saying something for in a chicken coop/run!
