How young have you been able to tell if they are silkied? I figure about a week when their wings start to feather??

it's hard to tell by the picture, but 2 defiantly look more mauve and the other light one has more of a silvery tone

I'll post a picture. I think I have 2 black, 2 mauve, 1 blue, and 1 splash??

My silkied ameraucana eggs hatched last night. 6 out of 7 shipped eggs. I was very pleased. Now I can't wait for them to start feathering out to see if/how many of them have barbless feathers
