Yeah, we had a little shower last night, and I caught him drinking water that had accumulated in the back of one of my son's toy dumptrucks this morning... I dumped it and he's been really compensating for the lost fluids. Thanks again 3horses....you're the greatest.

Thank you guys, I wanted to report that colonel is much better so far. He's much more active with a better appetite and is lifting his tail. I have noticed that his diarrhea hasn't improved much, but he is drinking a lot of water..medicated and regular...he's still being treated as second banana...

Thanks a million 3horses...we really love these guys...they've got a ton of personality and I'd hate to lose them or see them suffer...We're totally going to check on that Bluebonnet feed. We just discovered our new feed store about a 1/2 hr. away, and I'll see if they have it...Will also follow...

Thank you, I googled fowl pox earlier , and the discoloration you see is actually what i believe to be dried mucous..(it wipes off) the photos I saw of chickens infected with the pox were very different. I tried to wash off the area(and was thoroughly wing-beaten &scratched), but these guys...

I figured out the picture post btw.... This is Two-piece,the healthy one. This is his brother, Colonel Sanders,the sick one. The stuff around his eyes doesn't smell, and I am at a loss. Thank you for your suggestion. I hope this sheds a little light.

Oh, sorry. Yes, we typically feed our boys with a corn mash and occasionally an all-purpose pellet mix from the feed store.
