she/he is 11 weeks. The upper neck is getting dark blue purple feathers and the saddle area has turquoise colored feathers. Do purple BS hens get color too? Or is this a peacock? Thanks in advance for all of your help. Without you I may have gone mad on this journey 😂

Just thought I’d share a new pic of Rajah. He/she is 6 weeks now and so full of personality. He/she gets darker and darker as time goes on.

This is a learning curve for sure. I was an asiatic parrot breeder for over 20 years. So much simpler to identify mutations. I thank you for being patient with me. I will use this time to brush up on genetics and just enjoy the experience more. Have a great weekend 😊
