Arggg! I lockdown on Wednesday and I just had to toss 12 eggs. I think something must have happened with my bator. :/All 16 were good at day 7 but then these all stopped around the same time. I tried a dry still bator this time and I am wondering if it got to hot. I have it at 102 but I am gone...

I am a glutten for punishment! I just set another clutch of 16 eggs today to try again!! Feeling excited and foolish, lol.

Mine were all moving at lockdown too, I was at least expecting 5 pips even if a few failed after that. Super bummed to see these 3 lagging behing. I did move the other 2 out as they were knocking the eggs around and the 1st is 48 hours old now.

Ok so it is day 21 for my seramas 3 have hatched, 24 hours ago. I float tested the other 3 and they are floating low like they shoulf but I cant see any movement. Should I give them more time or are they dead?

Everyone's chicks are so cute! And it is making waiting for mine that much harder!!! How loud are they when they chirp in the egg? I haven't heard anything out of mine and they aren't wiggly either.

Finally got the humidity up, had to close some vent holes and add a humidifier to the room, steady at 60-70% now. I haven seen any movement in yesterday or today but am in lockdown now so we will just have to see I guess. How do you water candle?

I am on day 17 for my serama eggs and I can't seem to get the humidity up high enough. Any suggestions?? Below is what I have set up and the humidity is still at 40%, would adding sponges help at all? I am obviously running out of space to add another water pan. the black tray holds the water...

I candled today (day 8) and it looks like -4 are clear -4 had veining and/or eyespot -1 possible bloodring -3 had visible movement I am pretty happy with this so far but I have some redesign ideas for my bator before the next batch.
