    How do you get the corn off the cob? I tried to cut it off. Had a lot of waste and mess. Most of the time, it cut the kernels in half so I lost half. It's hard to judge how "deep" to cut Looking for a better way to do it.

    I've never done it either but we have a lot of potatoes and no basement. 😂 It's so dang hot in the South right now that we are loathe to run the oven. And we're "potato'd out" on mashed & fried potatoes. So I figured I'd try to can them as an experiment since I've never done it before.

    Thank you! I also canned some corn and green beans while sitting on a meeting for work. 😂 🤫 Blanched some broccoli too... Not sure how that's going to turn out. 🤞 I want to can some potatoes too but I simply don't feel like peeling a gazillion potatoes tonight. 🙄
