Well I have heard horror stories of adult birds killing and eating chicks. So that is why when one of my full sized hens hatches chicks I separate them for a few weeks just in case. But I know my Seramas are fine around chicks so when those hens hatch their eggs im just gonna leave them in there.

I do have fertilized eggs and I do kind of want chicks but I have the Seramas sitting on eggs. Come to think of it though, I do kind of want to hatch some olive eggers...

I have a broody Marans hen that just turned a year old. She is very broody even though she has no eggs. I am trying to decide if I should give her eggs or not.
