Okay, just realized you did post pictures. Those both look like silver phase females. (:

Hi Neetabeamie! The color of the bill doesn't indicate the color of the bird. It can indicate gender, however, or it can simply be a "fault" if you show. To tell the color of a Welsh Harlequin, you look at the wing bar - the solid colored part on their wings. If it's a blue/green, the color is...

Oh wow. Looking through all these pictures… I miss my ducks so much. ):

Hmm... I can't really say for 100% certainty, but they do all appear to be drakes. However, if you heard one honking, chances are it's a girl. Going by bill color, I'm going to make a somewhat educated guess and say you have two drakes and two hens. I say that because in all of the pictures, it...

Lolol oh, okay. That's fine. I just found out that we're about to move anyways so I can't add any just yet. But I'm gonna sell my drake.

Do you think you'll be able to ship live adults?

How much is shipping usually? I live in north Texas.

I looked on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department website, and couldn't find bobcats mentioned aside from it saying that only mounts and pelts are regulated(that was under the hunting section).

Lobo is my dog. Yes, that's why I said I'm just not sure if bobcats are on the protected list or not.

We have a chain link fence. Would a coyote be able to climb the fence? We have bobcats, coyotes, foxes, owls, and occassionally a hawk will fly by. But it's extremely rare to find one in our neighborhood let alone anyone's backyard. Not impossible, though.

Nayeli, I wouldn't know. Honestly, I don't think anyone is stealing them. I think something rather lazy and too small to take the others took them and ate them. Thoth was the smallest out of my Welsh Harlequins, and Pyrrhos was a Mallard, so about half the size of the WHs. I did put the other...

Lol with all that extra money I have, right? ;P I actually was able to find a heating lamp and a thermometer. My Mallard already had ten eggs under her. No way to fit anymore. She has also disappeared. My boyfriend and dad think someone's coming in and stealing them. There is an increase in...

I need some advice. One of my ducks stopped sitting, and another disappeared(I believe she was eaten, but I'm not certain, and have found no trace or evidence). I have some eggs in a makeshift incubator, like this one...

I haven't heard that, so I don't know if it is or isn't true. I don't think those ducks are eleven weeks old. I think five months is more accurate, but I couldn't give an exact age. You'll need someone with lots more experience than me to give you an exact age. As for gender, the possible WH...

Hey all, I have possible pips in my broody eggs! I'm too inexperienced to say for sure, so here are pictures! I'm pretty positive that these three eggs are from my gold phase hen. I say this because I have her and a silver phase sharing a nest, but the gold phase started laying first...

She is a hen. I have a hen, Thoth, who we all swore up and down was a drake. We didn't vent sex, but everything pointed to drake. She still only rarely quacks, and her personality is 100% drake - she even used to bully Erebus, our actual drake! Lol. I'm not even getting any eggs from her. At...

Oh Liz, I'm so happy she made it! This makes me think, though... Is it just me, or does there seem to be a large number of people reporting issues with their ducks? Not necessarily WHs, but in general, I've noticed a lot of people whose ducks are coming down with something.
