That's my guess, too. Would be nice to know what worms to treat for since something like the capillary worm does require more aggressive treatment.
When I suspect capillary worms I use Safeguard liquid or paste at 0.23ml per pound (50mg/kg) for five days in a row.

You can you the liquid or paste that's labeled for goats, cattle or horses. Doesn't matter as long as it says Fenbendazole 10%, Fenbendazole 100mg/ml or Fenbendazole 100mg/gram. All can be used on any animal, including poultry. Safeguard, Panacur or generic, it doesn't matter...

ACV and garlic in the water won't treat or prevent worms. If one has them, the others probably do, but not all birds will show evidence of worms. I just assume they all have worms and worm them with Safeguard to rule out the possibility that worms are making them sick.

@Kelli Michele , your hen should probably weight about 6 pounds by now. @11mini , I don't think you mentioned the age or breed of your hen, or did you?
-Kathy
I would strongly suggest that both of you buy a digital kitchen scale and start weighing your birds. That way you'll know if they're getting worse or better.

If she were my hen and I wanted to rule out worms I would give her 0.9ml for five days. Some will say not to give Corid and Safeguard, but I do and have seen no side effects doing so, nor have I read of any drug interactions between them.
Can you post a picture of the poop?
