    this is my araucana. another one looks the same but younger. they don't lay yet but the eggs I saw at the breeder are strange colour, neither blue nor green. and they were pale. those eggs were laid by older hens.

    the hen at the breeder was slightly different. her tail was like a ball, feathers a bit untidy. are there different types of orpingtons? I live in europe.

    the black one is BCM cockerel almost the same age. his comb is much bigger and redder, I am not familiar with orpingtons.
