My neighbors hatch I took when he moved. I got 2 hens from him as well! I plan on breeding him next spring if he makes the cut. I don't want to dub him though. I like the crown his comb has!
there is a problem with your link....
could you please repost the last pic?
im no good with knowing the lines...
how long have you had your flock? they look good![/IMG]
My 1st chick from the pair I posted earlier! The hen died almost 2 weeks ago, these eggs were from the week prior.
so what y'all think? Possible color? M/f?
what is he a cross with? if you have any info on his line I would love to know!!! I got him from a classmate, who got them from his FIL, who in turn bought a few stags out of west texas, from a man on a ranch that had them as a feral flock..... he has a red roo as well...
he also told me they...
I just took him out of the pen. his hen has 5 eggs in the nest now. im going to give him a break for a while then put him in a different pen with a younger hen. both hens look to be wheaten. anyone know or have pics of what that cross would look like?
Now for a question about breeding.... how does the gameness stay in the line? This is my 1st pair in almost 20 yrs! And my grandfather took them from me to fight them... feel free to pm me....
This is the best pic I have of him.... if there is a certain shot you would like to see let me know and I will try to get it for you.... I am on my cell tho so please be patient...
