    LOL I did that too until they outgrew the tub! Had towels in the other end of the tub were they hung out and hung the heat lamp from the towel rack.

    Yes. they ARE messy. Get them off newspaper. It's slippery and can cause spraddle legs! I just used towels.     Definitely no cedar. Depends where you have them and how old they are. Are they in the house while they brood or outside? I had mine in the house to brood for almost 2 months and I gave up and used towels. Good Grief they are messy! Outside, I use white shavings in their house.
