    If unsure - soon it becomes evident by the look of their comb. I've found the combs of BR roosters develop much more quickly than other breeds. By 3 weeks it is evident.

    How accurate is the leg coloration alone without looking at the head spot? I have 4 heritage stock chicks I just hatched, that clearly have the darker leg coloration - although the head spots are hard to determine.
