Last 2 did need help, but I let them kick off the shell. So the black one is still in the bottom shell. Below the black spot is not the eye, it is a spot. Looks bad, but they are resting.

The cracked egg was not fertile. I use nail polish. I have had them hatch using that method. Even a duck egg.

I was saving eggs for Easter hatch, (Rooster I borrowed did not cover eggs I set) but I bought some eggs to replace all the saved eggs. I did set a few eggs from that group. My eggs were not fertile, but these are hatching. Don't worry, or preach the true temp is 101.

11 hatched so far... a couple that hatched this morning...Still in incubator. whoops, grace is a different chick that hatched this is Nianh. Yesterday chicks... Below these 8 went to the brooder. Temp dropped last night, but 2 eggs still in shell are alive and in incubator. I did lose eggs.

My borrowed rooster went back, he did his job. I will collect eggs for easter hatch along.

For my 2nd incubator, I am using this box with foam lining I used many times before, although I don't hatch in it. I needed more room. The glass is not attached, I use it as a lid.

I am borrowing an isbar rooster named Trump, to breed with my frizzles.
