Some of the chicks are now with an older chick with a bad foot. (hatched from a long egg.) I never fix a foot, I just put them in with younger chicks, the younger chicks don't pressure a chick to be too active, and they usually cure themselves. A chick with a bad foot is also worried about his...
Last 2 did need help, but I let them kick off the shell.
So the black one is still in the bottom shell.
Below the black spot is not the eye, it is a spot.
Looks bad, but they are resting.
I only kept a few of the bought eggs, 2 hatched, 2 are still in incubator, day 22. One pipped yesterday, (wrong end) but not ready to come out, blood edges on the shell. The other safety hole I made on the dark egg, started to peep as soon as the hole was made. I don't normally give or approve...

I hatched out 3 a couple days ago. (day 22-23)

11 hatched so far...
a couple that hatched this morning...Still in incubator.
whoops, grace is a different chick that hatched this is Nianh.

Below these 8 went to the brooder.
Temp dropped last night, but 2 eggs still in shell are alive and in incubator. I did lose eggs.
