Thanks. Geeze, why couldn't the mother keep track of her kids! The ducklings seem fine, eating and drinking but apparently there is something going on that can't be seen. Hoping for the best now.

Well sad day here. The babies must have been out in the rain and cold too long yesterday. Lost 4 babies overnight. Hopefully the rest are going to be ok. This is why I really do not want to sell them yet. I would feel terrible if someone bought them and then they died.

I am going to sell them but not really sure when and what price is fair. I bought the pair as juveniles. What are normal and white ducklings worth? No way to tell gender now.

Our Mandarin hen hatched out 8 normal and 5 white ducklings yesterday. We had to round them up as they had escaped the pen and were all over the yard. All are great and indoors now. The flying ducklings are so fun!

I left the Mandarin hen sit on them and would check daily once they were 26 days or so and pulled them once I saw a pip. I felt guilty taking the eggs. But, they ALL hatched!

Didn't do it. They seem to be eating and drinking just fine without doing the "deed" I have 2 more eggs in the incubator due tomorrow, hoping they hatch also.

They are so sweet! I have them in a rubbermaid tub and they could jump out if not for the screen I have on top! I have seen them drinking but not eating yet. I've dipped bills in water and food, sprinkled food on the bottom. I haven't "dropped" them, do I really need to? They seem happy...

I have 1 pair normal Mandarin and 1 pair normal Wood ducks in a 12ft x 12ft pen together. I found the mandarin hen setting on some eggs so I left her be. Went out to see how things were progressing (about 27 days later) and found one of the eggs pipped. Their pen is chain link and I was...
