Wow, thanks for these pics! But in the second one you can clearly see it is saying 'this is not my good side!!'
They really are amazing creatures.
Horses (mine anyway) like EVERYTHING!! If I am eating it they want it too. "Hey where did my hamburger go?" and McDonalds fries! I swear they can smell them when I turn down the driveway.

Because I have learned some things. It's not all "I'm right and you are wrong" There are a lot of really cool links. and I like to learn.
Also just barely qualifies as 'going on for months' started 8-31, now 10-4. Really don't open this link if you are so sick of it. Very simple. You...
My brother saw a kangaroo, called the police, no Son, that was no kangaroo you saw, that was a Wallaby. In Midlothian Va, it had escaped from a man who keeps exotics. Oh the day his Widlerbeast got out of their pasture was kind of exciting, there were police cars parked across the road and...

I know or have known quite a few game wardens and state wildlife biologists and I really don't think they lie as much as repeat what they know or what has been made known to them. First, I'm sure if any of these people saw a cougar in the wild they would agree that they were there...
Just a random thought on it not being a fox, do their tails bend? I know they can be held high of droop on the ground, but I had the impression they stayed relatively straight. Not wiggly.

You are NOT alone, I have and my BIL and nephew also. In different parts of the state.
10 years ago we NEVER saw a fox hit by a car, now hardly a day goes by.
The "Oh but you can't have ML in VA the Game wardens say so" just makes me shake my head.
My DH saw it too, but he is dead.
Well mud on my face for assuming that grey foxes were just red foxes with different hair, and even reds are more feline than canine. I never knew their tails could be so long and sleek (o.k. non fluffy)
I didn't think bobcats had tails? We are not 'supposed' to have mountain lions in VA either, but I know I saw one. Looks like a teenager, maybe finding its own territory? The haunches are def. feline and look too long to be bobcat IMO.
Stay safe
