Ooooo girl! I got the book at the end of this week. I am crazy covered up with photo projects right, now so I haven't had time yet to work anything out of it. I can tell though that it's going to be the bomb!! I keep thinking that crochet would be so much easier if all books were...
Here are a few of my projects from last week and today.... Hanging dishtowels for Vfem, face cloths (because I wanted to see if I could figure out the pattern), and those commissioned beanies (there are 3 more of those).

I had a commission for 6 beanie hats I had to get finished. I'm still working on those tiny bereavement beanies...(they're so tiny I can only see to do them for so long). I've also been making some face scrubbies... just for fun I guess.

WriterofWords you are very welcome! Love the stories you tell about the kids! That is just the coolest!
The cluster stitch is easy you just do a double crochet but leave 1 stitch on the hook when you yarn over for the next DC. You can do this up to 5 times, each time you leave the very...

I love the dc (double crochet) for making scarves! Whip up a scarf in no time. I too had trouble turning at first, it just seemed so unnatural at first. I've only been crocheting for a couple months and if I can do it anyone can! Just keep practicing, you'll be suprised how quickly...

They're stitched right on the towel.
Oh and baustin sounds like you didn't get the whole download, there are instructions for 36 rows. And a crochet button, but I wanted a regular button.
Can you pm me the pattern? The ones I make are done separate and sewn on.
Here is the video and...

What are you missing in the towel instructions? Maybe I can help. Also I get my kitchen towels from the dollar tree. Sometimes they have really nice towels for a $1. That's a nice gift for not too much.
It says I don't need a specific number on each row, the object being to...

Oh hey that's cool! I like the colors too. I just figured out it all folds up into the "pillow" part. Neat!
I have a cold, I'm not too swift on the uptake these last few days!
Wow everyone's blankets turned out great! Right now I think the thing I like about crochet is that I can do a quick project and get it completed. Get that satisfaction of a job finished. But maybe next winter I'll be ready for a long winter's project. I love crocheted baby blankets. I think...
I think I would go pink! I don't mind the yellow. Why don't you like it?
It's amazing to me you guys that make the long term projects. Maybe I'll get there someday, but for now it's quick projects for me.

I do most of my crochet in front of the TV. I used to read while watching TV but my eyes are still messed up and it's too difficult to read right now. Crochet seems to be the ticket!

Thanks! Ava is very fancy! I got the pattern for the dog sweater on etsy, lots of neat...

Chickinlickin... you can do it!! You can make a very nice warm plump scarf pretty quickly by doing a simple double crochet stitch! I bet your Mom is very excited to teach you, but mostly to get to spend some extra time with you.
I really like Epais yarn that you can get from Hobby...
Ok here's the dog dress.... I finally got through it!! My first pattern without a video to help. After I get the dog washed I'll put her in it and post another pic... but for now here's the dress only.

So beautiful!! What type of yarn did you use? Where did you find the pattern. I wish I could follow patterns, would make life much easier.
I found an old stash of #3 crochet cotton in the attic while spring cleaning. I also dug out Nana's old crochet patterns from the 30's-50's. I...
