    Could just be yawning. None of the barred Rocks stand out as being obviously male.

    Barred Rocks are usually pretty easy. If they have narrow bands of black, it's a boy. Girls usually have wide bands of black and more narrow bands of white. The one in the last picture you posted is clearly a pullet.

    Both the Wyandottes up front look like cockerels. The one in back is a feathered like a pullet.

    Pullet only coloring. By 8 weeks, most cockerels are really obvious either because of the combs or their coloring.
