One pictured is the same one I just sent the picture of and was told it's a cockerel. I'm wondering about the other one. Pullet or cockerel? Thanks!

Both the Wyandottes up front look like cockerels. The one in back is a feathered like a pullet.
Barred Rocks are usually pretty easy. If they have narrow bands of black, it's a boy. Girls usually have wide bands of black and more narrow bands of white. The one in the last picture you posted is clearly a pullet.
Could just be yawning. None of the barred Rocks stand out as being obviously male.Also, I have one BR that does this weird thing that looks like she Is trying to crow but no noise comes out. Is that normal? Could there be something wrong? Or is she really a he and is practicing?
