Not sure I'd opt for chemo again; one doesn't to be any more effective than the other, and the after-effects are a lot easier to deal with. We'll see....

Yeah, it's been hot, alright. Mid-90's during the day, which by itself is tolerable, 'til you factor in the humidity, also in the 90's. Gets pretty brutal in the Summertime

I'm fortunate in have the coops situated under a huge Maple tree that provides plenty of shade. The overhead net is a pain, collecting dead limbs constantly, but it's not a bad trade-off. There's always the danger of the tree coming down, though.
