i would start with about a tablespoon of yogurt per bird...I am not sure, I know it is good for them but then I hear that birds don't process dairy . I do put leftover yogurt in their fermented feed and rinse out milk jugs for the fermented feed water...I can't see how yogurt would be bad as...
That cabbage was down to the size of an apple in a few hours and gone by the end of the day. I don't know how six chickens can eat so much cabbage. I couldn't stop watching the Cabbage Show on Chicken TV.
I scrambled six of their eggs and the flock got three and the pack 'o small dogs got one each. First time, for the chickens, and they loved them! Then they got some scratch with BOSS and went to bed.
I pulled down some mountain ash berries still on the tree....they are learning to forage in the snow and they love those berries! So proud of them!
