Awesome! I'll ask my friend. Thanks so much everyone! :)
I just received the chicks I ordered from Coco Poultry Farm. There are 10 chicks instead of 6 which I ordered. I got 4 freebies! Yey! :)
Fabulous! I have a friend from Bohol. I might ask him to bring some when he goes there. Or do you know anyone who breeds and then ships them over to Manila? Thanks!
That's good news to me and my mom then! We love the kabirs we had about a decade ago. I thought they were extinct since my searched turned up that the ones we see now are hybrids. Good to know they're still pecking!
Hi ejcrist. The native chickens are what I know, they call them ulikba, asil, tagalog, etc. However, as far as I know, the ones that are actually cooked are mix breeds under the brand name sasso or the "i think are now extint" kabirs. Hope that helps. :)
Hi Everyone! I'm just new here and with chicken keeping too. Looking forward to learning more stuff from you! :)
I also ordered from Sir Mark of Coco Poultry Farm. I'm expecting the chicks next month! I'm giddy with excitement! :D
