    That's good news to me and my mom then! We love the kabirs we had about a decade ago. I thought they were extinct since my searched turned up that the ones we see now are hybrids. Good to know they're still pecking!

    Hi ejcrist. The native chickens are what I know, they call them ulikba, asil, tagalog, etc. However, as far as I know, the ones that are actually cooked are mix breeds under the brand name sasso or the "i think are now extint" kabirs. Hope that helps. :)
