    Finally my trio are looking good. (22 weeks, last Friday) My rooster Meatloaf, is filling in very nicely. I am not sure why, but I am so proud of these three.. In my eyes they are just as beautiful as a RIR Could be. ( I don't show, so... heh, I could be way way off ) But I just love the lines...

    The ones you are holding look near exactly like my new chicks. I did, however, search for a breeder that their birds had true heritage RIR traits, like having the dark mahogany -almost black- in colour plumage, as well as a really nice and defined brick body shapes.

    Sooo getting very excited about my hatch in 7 days. First time adding heritage RIR to my flock. The parents are deep mahogany, nearly black, and excellent brick shaped. Yays! Can barely control my excitement. :D
