I"m not sure how my son missed it but one of the hens was in the coop (did I mention my son is 18?) I still can't find the other one but I hope I can find her hunkered down in the pen. I didn't go out there because I had my good shoes on...

Well I went to do my morning check today and a very tall red fox was running away looking at me. Jogging really. Can't find either cayuga hen...Had to leave for work so I'm hoping they just scattered. I did find a spot with a little blood so I'm not hopeful.

I've read that they get white feathers as they get older, but I've never seen it. Thank you for sharing!

I meant to post pics yesterday but spaced it out. I'll hopefully remember to do it when I get home. By the way, does anyone have any experience with breeding the khaki bill color out? Both of my drakes have the khaki bills.

I got 9 ducklings last summer and am down to two pair of those this spring. I decided I wanted to make sure I had enough ducks so I ordered 10 females from Metzer's Farm. They arrived 2 weeks ago. I can't wait until they are all running around.
