Girls do fan but if you get a young one that fans all the time you got a boy at lesst that is how mine have turned out, not sayen all boys fan but when they fan alot they have been boys here.

looks like a boy to me but around 7 to 8 weeks till 12 weeks it gets kinda hard to tell with some when using photos.

In that case number 2 might be female , photos can make it hard to tell after 3 to 4 weeks of age, i can tell for sure when i see them in person at this age. these are 6 weeks old FEMALE MALE Same pair at 8 weeks of age Same pair at 12 weeks

Looks like a peach color to me , my cameos feathers came in tan looking not well peachy like that

From what i could see in photos that top breeders have the peach neck feathers are an orangy color even the bird itself looked a shade oranger if that makes any sence but a cameos has a rich brown neck at least my cameo did.

At a year of age the spurs on the hens are small and the males are thicker,bigger and more to a point with kinda a curve to it. can you post photos of them? I have a hen here with just one spur. Do you know what your cameos came from parent wise? like if the momma was a IB and dad was a cameo...

Frosty go look on that new thread about the found peacock that was just posted it is a cameo looks young but then it could just be cause he lost his train anyhow last cameo male i saw grown was darker in the neck but when they are fixing to molt they are lighter anyhow as they fade with time.

She Looks like a black shouldered chick in this photo.

Mysteries help keep this forum going when hatching season is over she is a pretty girl what ever she color she develops .

I figured she is split white, i sold her last year cause i could never find a male and did not want cameo in my blood line here, trying to keep it blue here with blues, blue pieds, whites and silvers only.

Pretty cameo girl and indan blue girl is what i see. here is a cameo girl at around 6 months She has molted out and gotten her new feathers here at about a year old her as a 2 year old
