how to tell if my baby chicks have mites?

thats correct. the infected chicken was an adult silkie, (same coop as the parents are in), hatched by the broody mother. should i not worry to much about it? i have other baby chicks (from different farm) that i have kept separated...should i keep them separated or not worry about it, and let them be together?
 
If the broody of the chicks didn't have scaly leg mites, the chicks probably don't.
