Cockerel or Pullet, Black Australorp or ?

Ok, Jenny and Claire, the other BA are staying and neither are Jersey Giants. I can see the bottoms of their feet really easy now.

So my next question is about my EE girl. She has pointy feathers at the base of her neck but none near the tail. She certainly doesn't have a comb or wattles yet. A hen also? Her name is Mandy.

It's the black inside the feather that is pointed. The feather doesn't stop at the black point. The feathers are edged in the base color, not the black. Ignore the pattern and look at the feather shape. They are rounded, it's just hard to see.

Thanks! Being new to this trying to tell a hen from a roo when they are young (4mo) is hard for me. I've always thought she was a pullet but just wanted to make sure given all I've heard about characteristics of roos!

Yep, she's a pullet. Easter eggers often have those "optical illusion" feathers that fool folks into thinking they're pointed.
