This little guy (6 wks old) is rooster so he needs to go, but first I need to verify his breed. I'm pretty certain he's a golden campine but I thought I'd get the BYC's expert opinions! :) He was a free rare chick from McMurray. TIA for any help!

Maybe?? Just going by McMurray's catalog, they don't sell those though. They have golden-laced wyandottes, blue-laced red wyandottes, or looking at the catalog pics now maybe it's a silver penciled rock? It's hard to see in the picture I took but he's getting some brown along the back of his neck.
 
Its hard to tell but a bared rock mix with a silver laced wyandotte and maybe some were along there a bit of silver seibright in there
 
Idk about comb type, he hasn't let me get w/in 5 feet of him in weeks. Unless he's rushing me lol, he's an a**hole. And yes, he's been crowing. Or trying to, it's pretty cute! I know it's young to know for sure but even if it's a hen with rooster tendencies, it needs to go. I'm in town and can't have crowing birds. Egyptian faroumi is the other possibility, MM sells those too.

I got a better picture today, now you can see the reddish feathers on his back and I noticed his tail feathers are dark with a blue sheen, very pretty! Anyone have any guesses? After going through McMurrays rare breeds, I'm thinking maybe a blue-laced red wyandotte. I'm not sure though and I really need to get rid of this loud-mouth! :D
