I got this rooster last year from a guy that was selling chickens on Craigslist. I bought a bunch of hens and he gave me the rooster for free! I never asked what breed he is..just thought he was beautiful. But, now I'm curious because his feathering is growing in and he's just a handsome rooster. I'm thinking he's part Dark Brahma..but he doesn't have feathers on his feet. Not really sure what he'd be mixed with? Anyway, just wondering if any breeders could verify if it's a Dark Brahma mix of some sort. He is an absolute joy to have on our farm, too! Just a sweet, docile, non aggressive guy. I want to try and hatch some of his offspring to continue that temperament in future roosters.
