, they are so cute we have 4 blue, 1 black/ dark blue and 1 red partridge they are 2 weeks old on Tuesday, we also have two more hatching under our broody hen now

Congrats BackyardSilkies! I've got seventeen babies running around now, it's so cute! They'll be a week old Tuesday! No partridges in this batch, which surprised me since partridges are my main project. Daddy's a colour cross from a black/partridge and while he's partridge a lot of his babies are black...tryna get a pure partridge roo from the chicks, but he keeps throwing blacks

Of course by partridge I mean silver partridge...
There's one little paint, a grey, two blues, four blacks, two Seramas, and the rest are Polish, from my Crele project, which I started by accident when I crossed a black tail red to a barred and got a beautiful crele. Now I'm working to improve it, and think I FINALLY got a hen! They've all been roos...
Anyway, we wouldn't mind if you posted more pics of your babies, lol!

I think they are blue though they all have white beards and necks, is this normal in blues? :idunno :) also Elvis head is a lot darker than his body is he a black?
