Duck folks, @My2petducks has reminded us that we need to look hard at our ducks' shelter to consider whether it will keep them safe in strong storms. And if there is any doubt, I encourage you to bring them in - it is just for the duration of the storm, and will save you some anxiety and possible regret, and could save their lives.
Ducks are waterfowl, but flooding is still not safe for them. High winds can throw heavy objects around like missiles.
And remember to take care of yourselves, too!
