just hatched baby chick question

This is my first time hatching chicks. My first one to hatch is really active flopping all over the incubator and moving other eggs around. I just want to know is this ok or do I get it out and put in brooder under light. It has not dried yet either.
 
You could take it out and hold it under your shirt, letting it rest and relax as if it were under a momma. It really just wants to snuggle right now, but in moving around so much, it may knock the eggs out of proper hatching position (so that the pip is on the bottom).

There are different ways to approach this, and neither is right or wrong. I'm one of the ones that leaves them in there until they all dry. Rolling the eggs a little doesn't hurt them, unless you just have a few eggs in a large incubator where they can get rolled over and over again. Once my eggs pip, even if the pip rolls to the bottom they usually continue the job. I'm not saying that you shouldn't take it out if it is wreaking havoc, but I would at least wait until it dries.
I find that leaving live chicks in with the eggs encourages the other chicks to work, kind of like cheerleaders. Once I take the dry chicks out, the action slows down

I only had 8 in there and it is a big one. The Baby is rolling the eggs all over the place knocking them into each other :-( Just scared this is my first time.
 
Gita, I have a chick that just hatched actually about four hours ago and she is still dragging the eggshell around by just a very thin thread. Do you think I should pull that little tiny thread away from that shell so that it can be loose? The thread is so tiny you can't hardly see it but it still holding onto the eggshell. Thanks for any help.
