Ok, really new here. How do you increase comb size?

I'm gaining an understanding of comb traits and am really fascinated with the La Flèche, Sicilian Buttercups, and Houdans.
The problem I have with the 1st and 3rd are the sizes of the comb. Is there a way to breed a larger comb type by bringing in, say a Redcap (or any breed with a large comb), then selecting back to La Flèche or Houdan types?
