We made a waterer for our girls with the nipples on bottom of bucket. When bucket is fairly full of water it is heavy. What can we hang it on that would be sturdy enough to hold the bucket full of water? Any help would be appreciated.:)
 
I use tree branches, but i do not fill my buckets to the brim for two reasons. 1. the weight would be too much for the branches, and 2. i prefer to clean the buckets out every week and my chickens would take around 3 weeks to drink all the water.

No, its going to stand out in the run. We will put it away for winter and they will have to go into the coop for drinks. We have a big metal waterer that sits on an electric heater.
