"she" started to try and crow this morning.

Some hens will have the weirdness to crow, if you see it mate with another bird it is a roo try that and see what happens

thank you. I haven't seen that yet but "it" kinda runs from the others since I had to give the 2 friends it had away because they were boys. (Different breed). The other morning when I went in their area, it ran at me then ran away. It did it like 4 or 5 times and then stopped. It was odd

I had a pair of buff silkies and the hen was always the more aggressive one it was very weird

A crowing, mating bird is usually (not always) a rooster.

Well she never said she saw it breed with another chicken so its up in the air at the moment
