Ok my white laying hens have slightly discolored butts since they started laying is that normal? Second question how often do you deworm? If there bo sign of worms do you still deworm? All my hens clean themselves and the all run aroundthe yard like crazy chickens they are (very very active) very rarely will you see any lay down outside of their favorite dust bath area.
 
Is it the actual vent itself where you are seeing the change of color and, if so, what color are you seeing? There is a normal change in the appearance of the vent (not only color, but also structure), but without knowing what color the vents on your birds are there is no way to know if that is what you are noticing.
