Has anyone put a heat lamp and light bulb in their brooder?

Well, I can't see why anyone would want to. I actually try to avoid even lighted heat sources, and prefer things like ceramic heaters or heat mats to brood with a natural daylight cycle. If they are raised on 24/7 light, they become very agitated when they get older and it's taken away. However, I can't see any reason why both a lamp and a light would be specifically bad for them or dangeorus in any way.
