Any idea what breed? Is it a hen or a rooster?

The person I got the eggs from is thinking maybe australorp or langsham but she's not certain .

Since the person you got the eggs from doesn't know the breed, I'm going out on a limb and saying it's a barnyard mix. Feathered legs are dominant, so whatever feather footed breed she has in one parent. Other than that, hard to say.

It's not screaming cockerel at this point, at 6 weeks it's probably safe to say pullet.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Thank you!! I'm really happy to hear the consensus on it being a pullet. I had 6 eggs and only one hatched so if this was a roo I would be very dissapointed.
